    La société en difficulté Everything Except Shoes, ou E.E.S., engage la célébrité Ricky Coogin (Alex Winter) pour servir de porte-parole au milieu d'une série de rapports selon lesquels l'entreprise utilise une substance toxique dans les produits qu'elle fabrique. Ricky se rend en Amérique du Sud pour dissiper les rumeurs, mais il tombe plutôt sur un parc d'attractions loufoque dirigé par le dément Elijah C. Skuggs (Randy Quaid). Il s'avère que Skuggs utilise la substance dans les produits E.E.S. pour transformer les humains en mutants grotesques.
