Buckout Road pourrait être connue comme la route la plus hantée de l'État de New York, mais personne ne le croyait vraiment... jusqu'à maintenant. Un projet de classe universitaire sur la mythologie moderne devient mortel lorsque trois étudiants découvrent qu'une série d'horribles légendes urbaines entourant Buckout Road pourraient en fait être vraies. Plus ils creusent dans l'histoire sombre et mystérieuse de la route, plus leur quête devient dangereuse.
