A Million Dollars

Bozena (Kinga Preiss) is a clerk who works in a big bank and who believes that "to buy" means "to live". Money she doesn't have is her big concern. Her real life in relatively poor conditions and with a husband whom she considers an idler and loser, is a source of her endless frustrations. Thus she prefers to escape into the fantastic world of commercials and glossy magazines, treating her "real" life as a nightmarish illusion. One day fortune smiles on her when her neighbour, a lonely old lady finds out that her husband just died, bequeathing unto her a million dollars...
