On the island of Kalamaki, young autistic Yannis finds comfort in the rhythms of daily life -- measuring the boats, fishermen's catches, and café visitors. His routine is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of his estranged grandfather, Alexandre Varda, a successful businessman. Despite their differences, a deep and emotional bond forms between the two, bridging their worlds.
