Brilliant septuagenarian Madeline "Matty" Matlock returns to work at a prestigious law firm after achieving success earlier in her life. Her unassuming demeanor and clever tactics help her win cases and expose internal corruption. At the firm, she is teamed up with Olympia, a senior attorney known for her strong sense of justice. Meanwhile, Olympia's ex-husband Julian, who is the son of the firm's head, becomes intrigued by Matty's sharp skills.
