My Daughter, You Will Be Free

Afghanistan, spring 2002. Forced into marriage with a 65-year-old man, 15-year-old Zarmina escapes her homeland and heads to Montreal. But freedom comes at a cost: one day, her daughter must marry the cousin left behind in Kabul. Fifteen years on, the deal comes back to haunt them. Zarmina won't let her daughter face the same destiny. Her fight for freedom turns into a tragedy.
