Ashley, a disillusioned eighteen year old, lives life in the fast lane seeking acceptance with her streetwise friend, Nicki's quest for guys and alcohol. Then a handyman working around her house abruptly invades her blended family's life. Before she can shoplift another mini skirt, she finds herself writing and directing a Christmas play for over sixty underprivileged kids.
