Soylent Green

In the year 2022, the population of New York is 85 million. The starving masses depend upon the government manufactured food item Soylent Green to exist. But in the midst of a murder investigation, a cop named Thorn (Charlton Heston) uncovers the chilling source of the product. Heston delivers another great scenery-chomping performance, and Robinson (in his last role) is great as the sole holdout who prefers to dream of steak and potatoes while starving.
