The Deuce

In the 1970's, the prostitution business enjoyed a public boom never before seen in the five boroughs until the police began to increase arrests in a push against corruption. Two brothers, identical twins Vincent and Frankie Martino, work out of Times Square and provide a front for the Mafia. Street walker Eileen Merrell, known in the business as "Candy," keeps dealing with threats from pimps, johns and cops. Violence also starts to grow as a drug epidemic start sweeps through the city. As all of these events unfold, each character tries to find less dangerous money-making schemes through legal pornography.
