The High Frontier

A former border guard Mateusz (Andrzej Chyra) along with his two teenage sons (Bartosz Bielenia and Kuba Henriksen) go to the mountains for a male-bonding expedition of the untraveled wilderness (Bieszczady Mountains) on the Polish-Ukrainian border. They stay at a small border cabin -- an unused and vacant watchtower. After a restless night a deadly exhausted tourist Konrad (Marcin Dorocinski) arrives at the cabin and says he has left people behind him on the trail. Matuesz follows his trail back to a ravine by the border and comes across crime scene where he finds out that Konrad is a ruthless smuggler and realizes that his left sons are in great danger. Family's outing escapade turns into a struggle for survival - the boys face mortal enemy.
