The Wonderful Country

Having fled to Mexico for killing his father's murderer, Martin Brady (Robert Mitchum), travels to Texas to broker a weapons deal for his Mexican boss. Brady breaks a leg and while recuperating, the gun shipment is stolen, and he is expected to make good on it. Complicating matters further the wife (Julie London), of a local army major has designs on him.
